What You’ll Be Doing
Train
Acquire core financial services licenses: Series 7, Series 66, Life & Health License
Learn the philosophy behind the Equitable financial planning process
Learn about financial markets and types of investments
Understand how to engage clients
Learn
Join the Branch Assist team to connect with existing Equitable clients
Work with them to position existing investments to meet long‑term financial goals
Assist clients in planning for new financial needs as their lives and needs change
Partner
Work with 10–20 successful Financial Professionals to contact their clients and build efficiencies
Help clients realize their financial goals
Gain insight into becoming a successful Financial Professional
Additional Training
Client Prospecting
Conducting face‑to‑face client meetings
Developing client seminarsManaging business expenses
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $50,000, eligible for variable compensation.
Full range of benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, and paid time off
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience
Ability to obtain FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses and Life Insurance Licenses (funding and study program provided)
Prior customer relationship management experience
Preferred Qualifications
Previous sales experience in financial services (banking, insurance, property & casualty, or retail investments)
Strong research and analytical skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Skills
Cross‑Selling – knowledge of strategies to understand client needs and create additional sales
Effective Communications – ability to transmit, receive, and interpret ideas accurately
Sales Proposals and Presentations – skill in preparing formal recommendations
Sales Scoping and Qualification – ability to identify and qualify opportunities
