The Vacancy
Qualifications:
Must have 3 or more years of sales experience in electric power industry in order to be considered (electrical maintenance, electrical safety)
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, Business/Engineering/Technical preferred
Proven new business sales experience (hunter mentality)
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and effective use of CRM
Prefer working knowledge or experience with at least one of the following:
Substations
Circuit breakers
Relay
Cable
Transformers
Duties:
Inside sales activities including:
Outbound Dialing
Generating new opportunities
Daily prospecting
Existing customers retain and grow revenues
Pursue and close sales leads
Responsible for attaining annual sales quota
Limited overnight travel (i.e., tradeshows, customer visits)
Portray AVO in a positive manner professionalism, diplomacy, sensitivity, tact
Work with Marketing Department:
Reach more customers
Messaging with prior customers
Develop growth strategies
Additional Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Ability to work independently as well as within small teams.
Demonstrated ability to multi-task with ability to complete tasks on schedule.
Strong organizational skills.

Travel Requirements:
2-3 business days trips, typically planned 1-2 weeks in advance
