Up to $100,000 Base | Uncapped Commission | Hybrid 2 Days Onsite Manhattan | Full-Time
Are you a hunter? A proven IT staffing sales professional who thrives on building new relationships, opening doors, and closing deals? We're working with a well-established IT staffing firm in the New York metro area looking for a driven Business Development Executive to join their team and accelerate growth.
This is a true new business role you'll own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, building your own book of business with the backing of an experienced delivery team behind you.
What you'll be doing
Hunting and acquiring net-new clients this is a new logo role, not account management
Prospecting into mid-market and enterprise companies across the NYC metro area
Developing and executing territory plans to drive consistent pipeline growth
Partnering with recruiters and delivery teams to fulfill client needs and build long-term relationships
Representing the firm at industry events, networking, and through your existing professional network
What we're looking for
3+ years of B2B sales experience in IT staffing or technology services this is non-negotiable
Proven track record of winning net-new business and hitting or exceeding quota
Deep familiarity with the NYC metro market existing relationships are a strong plus
Hunter mentality with strong prospecting skills (cold calling, LinkedIn, referrals, networking)
Ability to communicate the value of IT staffing solutions to technical and non-technical buyers
Self-motivated, resilient, and comfortable in a high-activity sales environment
Willingness to be onsite in Manhattan 2 days per week
Compensation & benefits
Base salary: Up to $100,000
Commission: Uncapped, paid on placements
Work model: Hybrid 2 days onsite, Manhattan
Territory: NYC metro area
