Setting: Acute Care Hospital
Responsibilities: Provide cardiothoracic surgical care, perform surgeries and consults, manage pre/post-operative patients, participate in call coverage
Required Procedures: Adult cardiac surgery, general thoracic surgery, CABG, valve repair/replacement, aortic dissection, ECMO (VA + VV), thoracotomy, lung resections, tube thoracostomy, pericardial window
EMR System: Epic
Support Staff: PAs, APPs, perfusionists, dedicated OR and CVICU team
Days Per Month: Minimum 10 shifts/month
On-Call/Weekends: Yes; 24-hour call including weekends
Requirements:
* Board Certified or Board Eligible
* Active Idaho License or IMLC
* ACLS and DEA required
