Req # 4094 DEPARTMENT: Long Term Care Center REPORTS TO: LTCC Director of Nursing/ LTCC Administrator JOB SUMMARYSupervises/monitors overall patient care on a nursing unit (1st Floor, SCU, and/or 2nd Floor) to ensure quality resident care, monitor quality improvement processes and to ensure regulatory compliance.

The staff member must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his or her assigned unit.
The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status.
They must be able to interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his or her age-specific needs, and to provide the care needed as described in the unit's/area's/department's policies and procedures.
OFFERING $15,000.00 SUPPLEMENTAL PAYJOB REQUIREMENTSCurrent Wyoming licensure as a Registered Nurse.
Minimum two (2) years of RN leadership experience.
EXPERIENCEPrior experience with geriatric patients helpful.
Experience in psychiatric and/or rehabilitation nursing is also useful.
SKILLSMust possess a high degree of confidentiality in all matters with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
Must have excellent leadership skills and supervisory skills for immediate supervision of nursing assistants.
Must have well-developed motor coordination and manual dexterity to perform psychomotor nursing skills. xsgimln
