North Arrow Partners & Turnstone Development are seeking an experienced Residential Construction Site Superintendent to lead day-to-day field operations for The Blackstone, a ground-up senior residential project in Du Quoin, IL. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong organization, schedule control, and subcontractor coordination to deliver milestones safely and on time.
Minimum Requirement (Inquiries Only)
✅ Must have 5+ years of residential, ground-up new construction superintendent experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily on-site operations from start through closeout
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors; manage sequencing and manpower
- Maintain and drive the project schedule, milestone tracking, and look-aheads
- Read and interpret plans/specs, coordinate RFIs, and resolve field issues
- Enforce jobsite safety and ensure compliance with OSHA and site policies
- Coordinate inspections and ensure work meets quality standards and code requirements
- Track deliveries, materials, and site logistics; maintain clean, organized jobsite
- Communicate clearly with the development team, trades, and inspectors
- Document daily progress, photos, reports, and field coordination notes
Qualifications
- 5+ years as a Residential Ground-Up Superintendent (required)
- Strong blueprint reading and plan/spec interpretation
- Knowledge of local building codes, inspections, and compliance requirements
- Proven ability to manage schedules, budgets, and subcontractor performance
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong organizational skills, documentation habits, and problem-solving ability
