We are seeking a skilled mid level Environment Artist with strong experience in environment and prop creation to join our team. You have proficiency across the full asset pipeline, from high-poly modeling through low-poly optimization and final texturing. You will be comfortable working with 3DS Max, Substance Painter, Substance Designer and Marmoset. In return, you will be part of an experienced creative and supportive team working on various AAA titles!

Overview
This is a Fixed-Term Employment role that requires to be fully onsite in Portland, OR and requires to follow a standard schedule of 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM PST.

Responsibilities

Create high-quality environment and prop assets from high-poly to optimized low-poly models

Develop and apply textures using industry-standard workflows

Utilize trim sheets and tileable textures to ensure efficiency and consistency

Collaborate with the team to integrate assets into the game engine

Perform light technical setup and implementation tasks as needed

Qualifications

A strong portfolio/demo reel with recent work showcasing proficiency in environment and prop art for video games (must submit to be considered)

3+ years of professional experience working as a Environment Artist in the video game industry

Proficiency in environment and prop modeling and texturing

Strong understanding of high-poly to low-poly workflows

Experience with mid-poly modeling techniques

Familiarity with trim sheets and tileable texture creation

Working knowledge of: 3DS Max, Substance Painter, Substance Designer, and Marmoset

Bonus Points! Zbrush experience
