Senior Accountant
position.
Role Snapshot
The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting for assigned operating entities, support audits, and drive continuous improvement across accounting processes, while partnering closely with cross‑functional teams
What You'll Do
Own accounting and financial reporting for assigned operating entities.
Maintain general ledger integrity and lead month‑end close activities.
Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and close schedules.
Analyze financial results and explain variances to budget and forecast.
Participate in close meetings and communicate key performance drivers.
Ensure timely close completion in compliance with U.S. GAAP.
Identify opportunities to improve close efficiency and internal controls.
Support annual audits and respond to external auditor requests.
What They're Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required, CPA preferred/plus
3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience (industry and/or public accounting)
Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP with ability to apply guidance independently
Experience owning the full accounting cycle for operating entities (must if in industry)
Advanced Excel skills and large ERP system (Oracle, SAP, IFS, or similar)
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills
Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work cross‑functionally
