Senior Accountant
We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support the accounting and financial reporting for a growing real estate organization. This role will play a key part in the month-end close process, financial reporting, and oversight of multiple properties and entities.
Key Responsibilities
Lead key aspects of the monthly close process, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
Prepare and review monthly financial statements for multiple properties and legal entities
Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
Work closely with property management and operations teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash management
Identify opportunities to improve processes and strengthen internal controls
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate, property management, or multi-entity environments
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting systems
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
