Tax is the majority of the work, but you are not boxed in. There is audit, reviews, compilations, payroll around you. It makes a difference. You stop seeing things in isolation.

Busy season sits around 55 to 60. It is not light, but it is not ridiculous either.
The difference is what happens after.
From Memorial Day to Labor Day, Fridays are half days. Not a perk they forget about. Just how they work. Summer actually feels like summer again.
Hybrid is the same. A few days in the office, more flexibility when things are quieter. No one hovering over your shoulder.
