Telematics Automation Test Lead

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled
Telematics Automation Test Lead
to drive automation testing initiatives for connected vehicle and telematics programs. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in automation frameworks, automotive communication protocols, and end-to-end system validation across vehicle, cloud, and application layers.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the automation testing strategy for telematics and connected vehicle programs
Develop, execute, and maintain automation test scripts for telematics systems and connectivity features
Validate end-to-end workflows:
ECU → Vehicle Network → Cloud → Mobile/Web Applications
Analyze requirements, test cases, and system specifications to define automation scope
Perform data validation for GPS, CAN, diagnostics, events, alerts, and telemetry data
Debug test failures, analyze logs, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues
Ensure compliance with automotive quality standards and best practices
Continuously enhance automation frameworks and improve test coverage
Required Skills & Competencies:
5–7 years of experience in test automation, preferably in automotive/telematics domains
Hands-on experience with
Python, Selenium, REST-Assured , and OBD tools
Strong understanding of telematics systems, vehicle connectivity, and IoT architectures
Knowledge of automotive protocols:
CAN, UDS, MQTT, HTTP/REST, TCP/IP
Experience in API testing and backend service validation
Familiarity with Linux/embedded environments and log analysis
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in
Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics & Communication , or a related field
