Telematics Automation Test Lead

Key Responsibilities
Lead the automation test strategy for telematics and connected vehicle programs
Develop, execute, and maintain automation test scripts for telematics systems and vehicle connectivity features
Validate end‑to‑end telematics workflows including ECU → Vehicle Network → Cloud → Mobile/Web applications
Analyse requirements, test cases, and system specifications to identify automation scope
Perform data validation for GPS, CAN, diagnostics, events, alerts, and telemetry data
Debug test failures, analyse logs, and collaborate with development teams to resolve defects
Ensure compliance with automotive quality standards and best practices
Continuously enhance automation frameworks and improve test coverage
Qualifications
5-7 years of experience in test automation, preferably in telematics automotive domains
Experience in automation testing using tools/frameworks such as Python, Selenium, REST‑Assured, on board diagnostics tools
Strong understanding of telematics systems, vehicle connectivity, and IoT architectures
Knowledge of automotive protocols (CAN, UDS, MQTT, HTTP/REST, TCP/IP)
Experience in API testing and validation of backend services
Familiarity with Linux/embedded environments and log analysis
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills
Good communication and cross‑functional collaboration abilities
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, electronics & communication or a related field
