Overview :
Optomi, in partnership with a leading enterprise organization, is seeking an

AI Architect

to join a high-impact data and analytics team. This role will focus on designing and evolving modern data platforms in AWS while supporting the integration of AI/ML capabilities across the organization.
This is a hands-on architecture role where you’ll collaborate with senior architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to build scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions. You’ll play a key role in shaping the organization’s AI platform strategy, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, and driving innovation across data and analytics initiatives.

Qualifications
Required:
6–10+ years of experience in data architecture, cloud architecture, or data engineering
Strong experience with AWS services (e.g., S3, Lambda, Redshift, Glue, etc.)
Experience designing and building data platforms, data warehouses, or data lakes
Working knowledge of AI/ML concepts and how they integrate into enterprise systems
Experience with data governance, ingestion, and storage best practices
Exposure to advanced analytics tools (Python, R, or similar)
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, Git, containers, Kubernetes)
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred:
Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms
Exposure to AI/ML implementation in AWS environments
Experience with APIs, REST services, and data integration tools
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
Background in enterprise architecture or large-scale system design

Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable data and AI architectures within AWS cloud environments
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver AI/ML-enabled solutions
Lead architecture efforts for data platforms, analytics systems, and AI integrations
Evaluate and recommend technologies, tools, and frameworks aligned with business goals
Define data management, governance, and integration strategies across platforms
Conduct research, proof of concepts (POCs), and feasibility assessments for new use cases
Ensure solutions follow best practices for performance, security, and scalability
Support deployment models (cloud, hybrid) and integration with existing enterprise systems
Partner with engineering teams to guide implementation and ensure architectural alignment
Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
