We are partnering with a well-established
textile manufacturing company
rooted in the foothills of North Carolina to find a detail-oriented and motivated

Position Overview
The Staff Accountant will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the overall accounting function. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and takes pride in accuracy, organization, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and update
general ledger accounts , including journal entries and daily transactions
Assist with
month-end close , reconciliations, and intercompany transactions
Perform
bank and balance sheet reconciliations
across multiple accounts
Prepare and distribute
monthly financial reports
(balance sheet, income statement)
Track and manage
fixed assets, prepaid expenses, and accruals
Support
accounts payable and receivable
processes
Prepare
monthly commission reports
Maintain
1099 reporting documentation
Calculate and file
sales & use tax (monthly/quarterly)
Ensure compliance with
GAAP standards
and assist with audits
✅ Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Associate degree considered)
2+ years of accounting experience preferred
Strong knowledge of
GAAP
Experience in
manufacturing environments
is a plus
Proficiency in
Microsoft Excel (advanced skills preferred)
Experience with accounting systems (e.g.,
Microsoft Dynamics Navision )
Familiarity with
Avalara
is a plus
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Ability to work both independently and within a team
Cost accounting
experience is a plus
Schedule & Work Environment
On site Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Primarily office-based with occasional exposure to the manufacturing floor
