Job Description Bachelors or Masters degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. An exciting contract opportunity is available for a dedicated School Psychologist with a passion for supporting student well-being and academic success. This position runs from August 10, 2026, through May 14, 2027, with consistent hours from 7:30AM to 3:00PM. What You’ll Do:Provide comprehensive psychological services to approximately 30 high school students Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students’ strengths and needs Develop and implement evidence-based interventions and support plans Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to enhance learning outcomes Consult and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings Maintain timely, accurate documentation in compliance with district and state regulations Foster positive relationships to promote a safe, supportive school environment Your Background:Current and valid Illinois School Psychologist license required Prior school-based experience, preferably at the secondary level, is highly valued Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effectively engaging with students, families, and staff Deep understanding of adolescent development and the challenges facing high school students Ability to work fully onsite and contribute as a reliable team member This opportunity offers you the chance to build meaningful connections with students and staff, and to utilize your skills to create positive, lasting change.
