Bachelors or Masters degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a meaningful impact supporting high school students as a School Psychologist in a dynamic contract opportunity beginning August 2026 and lasting through mid-May 2027. This engaging assignment places you directly onsite at a high school, collaborating with educational staff to help students reach their full potential. You’ll have the chance to provide tailored services to a manageable caseload of around 30 students, allowing for focused interventions and ongoing support. Key Qualifications:Current, active Illinois School Psychologist licensure (required)Expertise assessing, counseling, and supporting high school-aged youthExperience collaborating with educators, families, and related service providersStrong communication, organization, and assessment-reporting skillsComfortable working exclusively onsite in a school environment Your Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive evaluations including psychoeducational and behavioral assessmentsDevelop, implement, and monitor interventions aligned with students’ IEPs and unique needsProvide direct counseling services and crisis intervention as necessaryCollaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop strategies fostering academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growthAttend and contribute to IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussionsMaintain accurate documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines This contract role follows a consistent weekday schedule from 7:30AM to 3:00PM, allowing for work-life balance and the ability to plan ahead.
