Business Development Representative - First Responders & Building Trades
Territory: Louisville Metro Area & South Central Indiana

Are you a sales professional currently calling on building trades (plumbers, HVAC, sprinkler, roofing, commercial construction, etc.) or someone who has first responder experience (fire fighter, law enforcement, emergency services, military) and want to join an industry leader?

If this is you… Then don’t miss your chance to join our expanding marketing team as a Business Development Representative in a recession‑proof industry networking with governmental agencies such as fire houses, police departments, emergency support centers and also networking with companies in the various building trades who we can develop reciprocating relationships with.

The ideal candidate is someone who is responsible, confident and comfortable meeting new people, a team player, has excellent communication skills, persistent, problem‑solver, creative-thinker, and serious multi‑tasker. Our most successful teammates are dedicated, proactive, provide superior service, and love taking ownership in building lasting relationships.

Primary Responsibilities

Meet or exceed assigned volume goals by networking, setting up appointments, and maintaining assigned contact lists with key decision makers in both government agencies and private businesses.

Participate in professional associations, host lunch-and-learns, and promote professional development courses to your specific targeted audiences.

Maintain existing and build new relationships and rapport by educating decision makers on the reasons SERVPRO® is the best commercial cleaning and restoration company in the industry.

Compile and maintain decision maker information and identify “Target 50” (Top 50 prospects to develop into clients) using our CRM software.

Provide regular updates to management team through one‑on‑one meetings and sales reporting.

Increase vertical revenue by consistently achieving and exceeding territory goals.

Compensation
Total starting first‑year compensation package of $55K-$65K (salary + bonus) based on experience

PLUS activity‑based incentive plan (potential to earn into six figures over time)
