Role Summary
Manage operations at hydroelectric power generation facilities. Maintain and monitor hydroelectric plant equipment for efficient and safe plant operations.
Purpose
The Hydroelectric Production Manager oversees the daily operations and maintenance of our hydroelectric facilities to ensure maximum energy output and grid stability.
Impact
This role is critical in meeting regional renewable energy targets and maintaining the structural integrity of vital national infrastructure.
Team Structure
Leads a multidisciplinary team of 15-20 personnel, including plant operators, maintenance technicians, and environmental compliance officers.
Reports To
Reports directly to the Director of Operations.
Working Conditions
Travel Required: 15%
Standard business hours with on-call rotation for emergencies.
Physical Requirements
Ability to walk on uneven terrain
Occasional climbing of ladders and stairs within the dam structure
