Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized educational plans tailored to the needs of students with hearing impairments.
Collaborate with classroom teachers, audiologists, and speech-language pathologists to ensure comprehensive support.
Utilize assistive listening devices and communication technologies effectively.
Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
Provide advocacy and resources to students, families, and school personnel.
Maintain accurate records and comply with educational regulations and standards.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid teaching certification in Deaf and Hard of Hearing education or related field.
Experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing in a school environment.
Familiarity with a variety of communication modes including sign language, auditory-oral methods, or cued speech.
