Hiring: NSO Support Engineer - Retail Store Hardware

Location:

Jersey City, NJ (100% Onsite)
Duration:

6 Months (Possible Extension)

We are looking for an experienced

NSO Support Engineer- Retail Store Hardware

with strong expertise in

store hardware, POS systems, store networking, and retail operations .
If you have hands-on experience supporting

enterprise retail POS platforms (preferably Aptos)

and enjoy working in fast-paced retail environments, this opportunity is for you!

Key Responsibilities
✅ Provide

L2/L3 support

for POS systems (Aptos, NCR, Oracle Xstore, GK, LS Retail, D365 Commerce)
✅ Troubleshoot

store hardware & peripherals

(printers, scanners, cash drawers, pin pads, etc.)
✅ Manage

New Store Openings (NSO)

– setup, staging, validation & go-live support
✅ Handle

store network & connectivity issues

(LAN/Wi-Fi, VLANs, DHCP/DNS)
✅ Drive

incident management, RCA, and operational excellence
✅ Support

payment devices

(Verifone, Ingenico, PAX) ensuring PCI compliance
✅ Coordinate with

vendors, field teams, and stakeholders

Required Skills & Experience
✔️ 4–8 years in

Retail IT / POS / Store Hardware Support
✔️ Strong knowledge of

POS hardware ecosystem & peripherals
✔️ Experience with

Windows endpoints & device troubleshooting
✔️ Hands-on exposure to

NSO / retail rollouts
✔️ Good understanding of

networking fundamentals
✔️ Familiarity with

ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.)

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS/Electronics or equivalent experience
Certifications like

CompTIA A+, Network+, ITIL

are a plus
