Position Overview
The firm is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented
Administrative Assistant
to support daily office operations and provide essential assistance to partners, accountants, and the tax team. This is a key role for someone who enjoys being the organizational backbone of an office and thrives in a fast-paced yet collegial professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to partners and professional staff
Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments
Handle incoming calls, emails, and client correspondence professionally
Assist with document preparation, filing, scanning, and electronic organization
Manage client records and maintain confidentiality at all times
Support tax season workflows, including assembling and processing client deliverables
Order office supplies and assist with general office management needs
Coordinate mail, shipping, and records retention processes
Qualifications
2+ years of administrative or office support experience (professional services environment preferred)
Prior experience in a
CPA firm, accounting firm, or professional services
setting is a plus
Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel); experience with document management systems a plus
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Professional demeanor with a client-service mindset
