Responsibilities
Maintain the general ledger and manage month-end close
Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management
Assist in the preparation of SEC reports and SOX disclosures
Support quarterly and year-end audit processes
Review legal documents related to acquisitions and leasing; set up and maintain corresponding schedules
Collaborate with external auditors and cross-functional stakeholders
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
3–5 years of accounting experience
Strong proficiency in Excel
Experience with Yardi a plus
Real estate or REIT experience preferred
Exposure to SEC reporting and SOX a plus
CPA or CPA in progress preferred; not required
