Purpose
We are seeking a Technical E-Commerce Specialist to become an integral part of our growing team! As the Technical E-Commerce Specialist, you will support the backend functionality and technical operations of our e-commerce platforms. This role focuses on assisting with website management, system integrations, API connections, and troubleshooting technical issues that impact site performance and data accuracy.
This is an entry-to-mid-level technical role ideal for someone with foundational e-commerce systems experience who is eager to grow within a fast-paced digital environment.
Primary Responsibilities
Support the backend management of company websites (primarily Shopify)
Assist with website configurations, updates, and system settings.
Identify and escrow website bugs and technical issues.
Support testing and validation before and after site updates or launches.
Systems Integration & API Support
Assist in monitoring integrations between Shopify, ERP, CRM/CPR, and other systems.
Support API connections and help ensure accurate data flow across platforms.
Assist with onboarding new third‑party tools and retail integrations.
Help document integration workflows and data processes.
Escalate system issues to the Manager or IT as needed.
Technical Project Assistance
Support digital initiatives such as:
Beauty professional verification systems
CRM/CPR integrations
Help gather technical requirements and document workflows.
Participate in QA and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Assist with post-launch troubleshooting and issue tracking.
1–3 years of experience in e-commerce operations, digital systems support, website administration, or related technical roles.
Experience working within Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms.
Basic understanding of system integrations, APIs, and data flow between platforms.
Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to learn quickly in a fast‑paced environment.
Preferred: Exposure to ERP or CRM systems.
Experience in retail, beauty, or CPG industries.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Work closely with the E‑Commerce team to support technical needs.
Partner with IT and vendors under manager guidance.
Provide updates on assigned tasks and flag potential risks early.
