Role Summary
We are looking for a highly experienced
L3 Network Engineer
with strong expertise across
Azure, AWS, and/or GCP . This senior role is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing complex cloud and hybrid network architectures and acting as the
final escalation point
for critical production incidents. The engineer will drive network architecture standards, security posture, and automation across multi‑cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
Design and architect
secure, highly available, and scalable cloud network architectures
across
Azure, AWS, and GCP , including:
Hybrid and multi‑cloud connectivity
Lead implementation of
advanced cloud networking solutions , such as:
Cloud Interconnects (AWS Direct Connect, Azure ExpressRoute, GCP Cloud Interconnect)
Global and regional load balancing
Private connectivity services (Private Endpoint, Private Link, Private Service Connect)
Peering, routing, and custom route designs
Own the
end‑to‑end cloud network security posture
in collaboration with security teams:
Firewall strategies and micro‑segmentation
Zero Trust network patterns
DDoS protection, perimeter security, ingress/egress controls
Act as
L3 escalation
for complex production incidents:
Deep packet inspection, routing, and performance analysis
Root cause analysis (RCA) and long‑term remediation planning
Define and maintain
standards, architecture patterns, and best practices
for cloud networking:
IP address planning
Naming, tagging, and connectivity models
Drive
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation
for network deployments:
Terraform, ARM/Bicep, CloudFormation
Mentor
L1/L2 engineers , review designs and change requests, and provide technical training.
Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to align network designs with
business, security, and compliance requirements
(e.g., data residency, regulatory constraints).
Evaluate new
cloud networking features and third‑party solutions , build PoCs, and define adoption roadmaps.
Typical Requirements
5–8+ years
of network engineering experience with strong expertise in
routing, switching, firewalls , and large‑scale enterprise networks.
Significant hands‑on experience with
cloud networking
on
Azure, AWS, and/or GCP .
Deep knowledge of
enterprise networking concepts , including:
BGP, OSPF / IGP
VPN, QoS, High Availability
VRFs, MPLS, SD‑WAN (conceptual or hands‑on)
Proven experience designing and operating
production cloud and hybrid networks
at scale, including
multi‑region architectures .
Strong experience with
automation and IaC :
Terraform (mandatory)
Certifications (Strongly Preferred):
Google
Professional Cloud Network Engineer
AWS
Advanced Networking – Specialty
CCNP / CCIE
or equivalent senior networking certifications

Compensation and Benefits
A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance‑based bonuses subject to company policies.
