Network Engineer Job at Take2 Consulting, LLC in Fort George Meade

Take2 Consulting is seeking an experienced Network Engineer / SD-WAN Engineer to support a high-visibility federal client in a secure classified environment. This role focuses on the design, deployment, support, and documentation of complex multi-protocol IP backbone and access networks with a strong emphasis on SD-WAN and enterprise security.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Design, deploy, and support multi-protocol IP backbone and access networks

Configure and maintain SD-WAN solutions

Troubleshoot routing, switching, and network security issues

Document architecture, SOPs, and security procedures

Support secure classified network environments

Implement BGP, IS-IS, OSPF, MPLS, LDP, RSVP, VPLS, STP, and L3VPNs

Assist with STIG implementation and system hardening

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

7+ years designing, deploying, and supporting IP backbone and access networks

7+ years deploying and configuring SD-WAN solutions

High school diploma or GED

Ability to obtain DoD 8140 / 8570 IAT Level II within 6 months

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with DoD networks

Experience with Palo Alto, Cisco, Juniper, Dell, HPE, VMware

Linux / Unix and Windows systems experienceSTIG and system hardening experience

Commercial or DoD cloud network experience
