Business Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced and result-driven Business Development Manager with a strong background in sales and business development to drive profitable growth across the North Central region.

In this role, you will lead new business development efforts, generate leads and convert opportunities into long-term client partnerships. This position is ideal for a motivated sales manager or business development professional who thrives in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Drive business development and sales efforts by prospecting, qualifying, and securing new clients

Schedule and conduct meetings with prospective clients on a weekly basis

Identify and pursue competitive takeaways and new market opportunities

Manage and respond to RFPs and inbound sales opportunities

Partner cross-functionally (Operations, HR, and specialized security divisions) to deliver tailored solutions

Develop and present comprehensive sales proposals aligned with client needs

Conduct security site assessments to evaluate risks, vulnerabilities, and client objectives

Maintain accurate sales activity and pipeline tracking within CRM systems

Collaborate on market strategy and lead generation initiatives

Continuously improve sales approach using data, metrics, and performance insights

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management

Strong understanding of sales processes, prospecting, and pipeline management

Ability to operate independently while managing multiple priorities

Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills

High level of accountability, competitiveness, and self‑motivation

Experience in business administration or strategic sales planning is a plus

Passion for delivering value and acting as a trusted advisor to clients

Preferred Experience

3+ Years in Business Development or Sales

2+ Years managing or responding to RFPs

Experience using CRM platforms and sales tracking tools

2+ Years of Cold‑Calling Experience

Compensation

Base Salary of $90,000

Commission structure tied to new business and sales performance
