We are seeking a highly skilled and technically proficient Senior Data Center Network Engineer to join our team. This role requires deep hands‑on experience designing, deploying, and supporting modern data center networks in hybrid environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background with Cisco technologies, spine‑leaf architecture, and network automation, along with cloud networking expertise.
Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and support Cisco-based data center infrastructure, specifically Cisco Nexus 9000 series (9300–93180) and Nexus platform technologies
Implement and support spine‑leaf architectures, including advanced BGP configurations for overlay/underlay routing, OSPF, and VRFs
Administer and manage Cisco ACI, NDFC, and DCM environments
Contribute to hybrid network architecture that integrates on‑prem data centers with cloud platforms (GCP, Azure)
Build and support new data centers, including all phases from planning, configuration, implementation, and ongoing maintenance.
Perform Layer 3 troubleshooting and configurations, with solid understanding of OSI model fundamentals
Work with network automation tools such as Ansible and Python, and use Postman for API‑based automation tasks
Participate in a monthly on‑call rotation (1 week as primary, 1 week as secondary)
Collaborate cross‑functionally with infrastructure, security, and cloud teams to ensure seamless operation and integration
Must‑haves
Demonstrated experience in data center buildouts and ongoing operations beyond rack‑and‑stack roles
Expertise in Cisco routing and switching, especially Nexus 9K series
Strong knowledge of routing protocols: BGP (overlay & underlay), OSPF, VRF
Experience in hybrid cloud environments (on‑prem + GCP, Azure, or AWS)
Familiarity with firewall fundamentals (Layer 3); specific vendors not required
Experience with network automation using Ansible, Python, and API tools (e.g., Postman)
Nice‑to‑haves
CCNP Data Center certification
Additional certifications in Cybersecurity or Information Security
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
