We have an outstanding Contract position for a Senior Data Center Network Engineer to join a leading Company located in the Phoenix, AZ surrounding area.
Seeking a Sr. Data Center Network Engineer with strong experience in Cisco Nexus data center technologies, responsible for designing, deploying, and validating scalable network fabrics using NDFC and VXLAN.
Responsibilities
Configure and deploy Cisco Nexus (N9K) switches for data center environments
Build and manage VXLAN/EVPN fabrics using Nexus Dashboard Fabric Controller (NDFC)
Perform base network configuration, including VLANs, trunking, VPC, LACP
Layer 2/Layer 3 services (SVIs, routing, OSPF)
Configure and validate VRFs, tenant policies, and overlay networking
Spine-leaf architectures and fabric connectivity
Ensure proper integration with upstream/downstream networks
Troubleshoot and optimize network performance and connectivity
Basic Hiring Criteria
Hands‑on experience with Cisco Nexus 9000 (N9K) platforms
Strong knowledge of VXLAN/EVPN architectures
Experience with Nexus Dashboard Fabric Controller (NDFC)
Solid understanding of data center networking fundamentals
Ability to configure and validate end‑to‑end network fabrics
Desired Qualifications
Experience with multi‑site VXLAN or data center interconnect
Familiarity with automation or templating within NDFC
Cisco certifications (CCNP/CCIE Data Center preferred)
Military connected talent encouraged to apply.
