Job Description
This position is responsible for administering and reconciling manufacturing orders and assisting with accurate raw material, finished goods, and label inventories.

Work Schedule
Shift: 4:00 am–12:30 pm with availability to work weekends as needed.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Follow all safety, environmental rules, and regulations applicable to the position.

Adhere to and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP requirements.

Review and prepare daily manufacturing orders (MO) for Production, Starch, BBQ, and Mustard departments across all shifts.

Provide guidance to Production Supervisors regarding the “needs” sheet for MO reconciliation.

Communicate issues affecting planning, operations, customer service, raw ingredients, and inventory.

Create a process to track and archive all MOs.

Attend staff meetings daily and be prepared to review any MO issues with the team.

Adapt to daily changes in production/business demands.

Identify issues with production/inventory and elevate them correctly to avoid business disruptions.

Work daily with the Master Scheduler to ensure schedule integrity.

Participate in the monthly physical inventory.

Obtain forklift certification to move items when necessary.

Troubleshoot reconciliation issues in the departments to resolution.

Assist the logistics manager with inventory and shipping issues.

Walk the production floor regularly to support operations and gain a thorough understanding of production processes and reporting.

Report to Plant Superintendent.

Perform additional duties as assigned by plant management.

Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred.

Related Experience: 1–3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the food industry. Manufacturing experience and familiarity with production environments. Strong expertise in supply chain management and inventory control.

Equipment/Software Skills: Advanced experience with MS Excel, Word, Outlook; inventory management system experience preferred.

Ability to manage/prioritize multiple projects and tasks.

Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively as a team member and lead when necessary.

Additional Information
Physical: Must walk throughout the plant and be able to climb stairs and ladders (portable, fixed). Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Sensory: Adequate visual, hearing, speaking, smell, and touch acuity to identify and respond to normal, abnormal, and alarm conditions.

Mental/Reasoning: Must logically and methodically solve complex problems and communicate solutions across all levels.
