Design Engineer UAS

This position will lead creative mechanical engineering, supervise the design and testing of cutting‑edge prototypes, and ensure effective team collaboration with strong communication skills to deliver innovative solutions to the customer.
Complete highly technical, difficult, and complex design assignments generally utilizing 3D CAD methods.
Perform specialized design computations and analysis.
Perform reviews and provides coordination of data to ensure a compatible design.
Requirements
Top Secret Clearance and US Citizenship.
Be able to pass DOS Class 1 Medical Clearance.
8+ Years of related experience.
Modeling and simulation; fracture mechanics, deployment accuracy and acoustics modeling.
Experience with CAD such as Fusion 360 or AutoDesk Inventor.
Experience with Finite Element Analysis.
Ability to travel 25% of the year.
Desired skills
Familiar with CNC machines.
Familiar with 3D Printing.
Experience with Robotics.
Experience with Unmanned Aircraft Systems.
Experience with Modeling, Simulations and Flight Characteristics.
