We are currently partnering with a well-established manufacturing facility seeking a hands-on Maintenance Coordinator / Team Lead to support 2nd Shift operations. This is a key leadership opportunity for an experienced maintenance professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys leading teams.
What You’ll Do
Lead and coordinate the daily activities of 2nd Shift union maintenance technicians
Plan, prioritize, and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime
Develop daily and weekly maintenance plans aligned with production schedules
Collaborate with production, engineering, and reliability teams to resolve equipment issues and improve performance
Support troubleshooting efforts by guiding technicians and helping drive root cause analysis (non-hands-on role)
Ensure compliance with collective bargaining agreements, company policies, and safety standards
Drive accurate work order management and reporting within the CMMS system
Promote a strong culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of industrial maintenance experience
Experience in a union manufacturing environment strongly preferred
Prior leadership, supervisory, or coordination experience
Strong understanding of mechanical systems; electrical/controls knowledge is a plus
Experience with CMMS systems and maintenance planning
Ability to lead through influence, communicate effectively, and manage priorities in a fast-paced setting
Familiarity with labor relations and working within a collective bargaining framework
