
Continuous Improvement Engineer (Hampton)

This role will focus on Kaizen events, cost reduction initiatives, labor optimization, scrap reduction, yield improvement, equipment implementation, and standardized work development. You’ll partner closely with operations and engineering teams to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure manufacturing processes consistently meet customer and business requirements.
Key responsibilities include conducting time studies, developing cell layouts and ergonomic workstations, supporting tooling and equipment design, improving labor standards, analyzing OEE and capacity, and leading continuous improvement projects from concept through implementation.
Qualifications:
• BS Degree in Engineering required (Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical preferred)
• 3–5 years of manufacturing engineering, continuous improvement, or related experience
• Strong Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Six Sigma experience
• Experience with time studies, standard work, labor analysis, and process optimization
• Equipment implementation and project management experience preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• CAD experience (2D/3D preferred)
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred
