Key Responsibilities
Lead the preparation, review, and oversight of fiduciary income tax returns, including complex trusts
Partner closely with other professionals to support an integrated, client-centric approach to tax compliance and planning
Monitor deadlines, estimates, and filings while maintaining high standards of accuracy and documentation
Research and analyze fiduciary tax issues and clearly document conclusions for internal and external use
Coordinate with outside accounting firms, advisors, and other professional partners as appropriate
Contribute to process improvements and best practices within the client office tax function
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; advanced tax degree a plus
CPA preferred
5+ years of fiduciary tax experience (trusts, estates, and individual income tax compliance), ideally in public accounting or private wealth
Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and reliable follow-through
Professional presence and a demonstrated commitment to confidentiality and discretion
Why This Role
Join a
stable, relationship-driven client office
where long-term stewardship and trusted partnerships are the standard
Step into a highly visible role on a
small, experienced tax leadership team —with access to decision-makers and the ability to influence how work gets done
Own
fiduciary taxation from day one , with a clear runway to broaden into the full client-office ecosystem (estate planning, investments, trust accounting/administration, and relationship management)
Tackle
sophisticated structures
in an environment built for
sustainable pacing —high standards without constant fire drills
Enjoy a collegial, collaborative culture with a
flexible hybrid schedule
and a strong commitment to
technology-enabled continuous improvement
