Our client in Homewood, AL is seeking an Accounts Payable Associate to support their accounting team. This is a long-term contract role with potential for permanent hire for the right individual. It’s an excellent opportunity to join a growing organization!
Responsibilities will include:
Enter invoices into the system for daily processing and payment
Complete three-way matching for all invoices on a daily basis
Perform account and statement reconciliations as needed
Scan and organize documents for recordkeeping and future access
Maintain and file retail manifest documentation daily
Assist with additional tasks as needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required
Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred
3–5 years of Accounts Payable experience, including reconciliation experience, preferred
