DakotaPro is hiring a Network Technician who wants to grow into advanced networking and infrastructure roles. You’ll work on real-world ISP and business networks (firewalls, wireless, VoIP, switching), while gaining exposure to modern tools including AI‑assisted troubleshooting and workflows.
This is a hands‑on role combining field work, support, and infrastructure — ideal for someone who wants to accelerate their technical skills and move toward engineering‑level capability.
Responsibilities
Install and maintain firewalls, switches, wireless radios, and VoIP systems
Perform structured cabling and equipment installations
Troubleshoot network and connectivity issues
Support customers via phone and ticketing system
Document work and contribute to internal knowledge
Participate in on‑call rotation after training
Technologies You’ll Work With
Networking (TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs)
Wireless and fixed wireless ISP systems
Firewalls and security appliances
VoIP platforms
Network monitoring and MSP tools
AI‑assisted troubleshooting and workflows

Requirements
CompTIA Network+ or equivalent knowledge (CCNA even better)
1–3 years of technical experience (IT, telecom, networking, or similar)

Mechanical aptitude and comfort with tools
Clear written and verbal communication
Valid driver’s license with good driving record
Ability to pass background screening
Preferred (Not Required)
Experience with MSP or ISP environments
Familiarity with Ubiquiti, MikroTik, or Cisco
Wireless or VoIP experience
Cabling experience
Physical & Field Requirements
Work safely at heights and on ladders
Lift 35 lbs unassisted
Hike desert terrain carrying equipment (~2 km)
Work outdoors in Southern Arizona conditions
