Work with us! Jagoe Homes is an award-winning third-generation family business recognized for quality construction and exceptional customer experience. We are seeking a Design Coordinator to join our Design Studio team, serving the Bowling Green, Owensboro, Henderson, and southern Indiana markets.

What You’ll Do
As a Design Coordinator at Jagoe Homes, your role goes beyond helping clients choose features and colors. You’ll guide clients through an important life transition, translating personal change into thoughtful design decisions. This approach is at the heart of our Design Studio process, which focuses on understanding what matters most to our clients and connecting product options to their vision of their future home.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Experience

Deliver an exceptional, customer-focused design experience throughout the Design Studio process.

Use approved scripts and the Discovery 360 technique to understand the life change motivating the customer’s decision to build and to identify key priorities.

Communicate product benefits clearly, aligning customer decisions with their priorities and vision for their future home.

Communicate approval processes, timelines, and outcomes to manage customer expectations.

Maintain current knowledge of available products, materials, options, and product changes to support customer guidance and documentation.

Prepare and submit clearly written special requests with complete and accurate product details.

Design Studio Operations

Follow established Design Studio policies and workflows to support accurate execution and project timelines.

Understand the full workflow sequence and the impact of each task on project timelines and downstream teams.

Maintain a clean, organized, and professional Design Studio environment that is customer-ready at all times.

Ensure displays are properly maintained, positioned, and aligned according to studio standards.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and share recommendations based on firsthand experience.

Workflow Management & Systems

Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, including market home selections, within established workflows and timelines.

Maintain accurate, complete, and timely customer, product, and project information across all required systems.

Stay current with system updates, enhancements, and new technology tools to support efficient and consistent execution.

Additional tasks in support of internal teams as needed.

Qualifications

Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional, warm, and customer‑focused communication style.

Demonstrated customer service skills, including the ability to build rapport, manage expectations, and address questions or concerns effectively.

Proficient with technology systems and tools, including Microsoft Excel, and the ability to learn and use proprietary software platforms.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects, tasks, and deadlines simultaneously while maintaining organization, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Familiarity with design products, materials, or residential construction concepts preferred, with a willingness to learn and expand product knowledge.

Education & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Some college coursework is preferred but not required.

Customer service experience in a client‑facing role required.

Experience reviewing or working with residential construction plans a plus but not required.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods during customer appointments.

Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.

Compensation: Annual base salary plus incentive pay, $45,000 to $67,500
