Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into an impactful role as a Speech-Language Pathologist, providing essential maternity leave coverage for a supportive school-based team from August through the end of November. In this contract assignment, you’ll work with a diverse student caseload, including the opportunity for a bilingual (Spanish-speaking) SLP, ensuring meaningful communication support for every child. The school program is well-established, offering a collaborative environment where your expertise will truly make a difference. Key Qualifications:Current Illinois SLP license or eligibility to obtain one CCC-SLP highly preferred; candidates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are welcome to apply Previous experience in a school-based setting is an asset Bilingual Spanish speakers encouraged (not required, but sought for this assignment)
Key Responsibilities:Deliver speech and language therapy services to a school-aged caseload Perform comprehensive assessments and develop tailored IEP goals in consultation with student teams Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to enhance student outcomes Maintain thorough and compliant documentation, including progress notes and reports Contribute positively to a collaborative and caring educational environment
