Service Parts Associate

Located in SW Cedar Rapids, ACP, Inc. is a division of Welbilt, an Ali Group Company, and since 1969, has been a leader in manufacturing and designing commercial high-speed and microwave ovens used in some of your favorite restaurants. 

We are seeking a Service Parts Associate to support our service warehouse team. Will prepare, assemble and package service parts and component orders for shipment.

Hours: 7 am – 3:30 pm Mon-Fri

Key Accountabilities Include:

• Operate power tools and equipment to assemble parts per instructions; assembly, testing and troubleshooting.


• Prepare and package components, parts and/or material for shipment. Care is required to avoid error and to prevent damage in transit.


• Prepare and apply address labels to packages, cartons, or crates as required.


• Pre-package items as required or directed for packing.


• Operate material handling and fork truck equipment including picker, to transport various materials, parts, etc.


• Rework of service parts components, and hi-pot testing of service parts.


• Communicate with internal/external customers via phone/email.


• Process transactions in Microsoft AX inventory management system.


• Maintains accurate inventory levels and part locations. Performs inventory and cycle counting activities as necessary and per schedule.


• Moderate to heavy lifting is required, up to 25 lbs.

Requirements/Position Competencies:

• High school graduate or equivalent.


• Strong work history. Previous pick/pack/ship and assembly experience desired.


• Fork truck trained or certified, or ability and willingness to learn and be trained on fork lift equipment including picker equipment.


• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.


• Ability to exhibit good judgment related to safety, quality, cost and delivery of parts, processes and product.


• Previous training or experience reading/interpreting blueprints.


• Basic keyboarding/computer skills in order to operate shipping system.


• Basic inventory knowledge.
