The ideal candidate will be responsible for representing clients in workers compensation cases, providing legal advice, and developing defense strategies against claims made by employees. This role requires a deep understanding of workers compensation law and the ability to navigate complex litigation processes.Key ResponsibilitiesRepresent clients in workers compensation cases and hearingsDevelop and implement defense strategies against claimsConduct legal research and prepare legal documentsNegotiate settlements on behalf of clientsProvide legal advice to clients regarding their rights and obligationsCollaborate with insurance adjusters and other stakeholdersStay updated on changes in workers compensation laws and regulations QualificationsJurisdictional license to practice lawProven experience in workers compensation defenseStrong litigation skills and experienceExcellent research and writing abilitiesAbility to communicate complex legal concepts clearlyStrong negotiation skillsFamiliarity with claims management processes - For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
