Operations Technician I - Extruder

Production Machine Operator

Operate production machinery and troubleshoot when needed.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Include the following:

• Responsible for the setup and operation of the machine within accepted safety practices and the allotted time frame.
• Properly perform necessary setting adjustments.
• Ensure the products have the correct components before packing them.
• Fill out and sign all required documentation before each run.
• Monitor equipment operation to prevent unscheduled downtime.
• Able to push, pull, lift, or carry 50 pounds up to 900 pounds with assistance.
• Communicate effectively with Production Supervisors, Production Leads and other Packaging Technicians on any situation arising during their shift.
• Other duties as assigned.

Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this position.

Qualifications

Education And Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent; Certificate from accredited college or technical school in Mechanical studies is preferred. Minimum of 6 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
