The OILS program in the University Libraries & Learning Sciences seeks to hire Temporary Part‑Time Faculty to teach a course in our undergraduate program for the 2026 Fall semester. The program anticipates a need for a Temporary Part‑time Faculty position for OILS 532 (Online Learning Design).
Adjunct faculty may be eligible to receive certain UNM benefits in some cases. See the benefits home page for more information.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualification:
Doctoral degree in Instructional Design and Technology, Learning Sciences, or related field
Preferred Qualifications:
A demonstrated commitment to cultivate an understanding of the rich and varied cultures of New Mexico to the success of the university’s mission to serve local and global communities
Experience designing and teaching graduate‑level online or hybrid courses using LMS and digital learning tools
Experience developing multimedia learning materials grounded in multimedia learning and visual design principles
Experience designing and evaluating eLearning environments including interaction, engagement, assessment, and learning communities
Experience with rapid instructional design and development including storyboarding and prototyping
