Enterprise Solution Architect Job at Cognite in Houston

As an Enterprise Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role in the Expert Services Offerings department within our Value Delivery organization. You will work directly with key customers, field sales, delivery teams, and product development, leading industrial customers to increased productivity, profitability, and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end architecture and solution design leadership.


• Providing strategic and technical expertise to support customers and project teams.


• Defining enterprise and solution architecture, including integration, data models, data ingestion pipelines, and user-facing solutions.


• Expressing complex technical solutions through architecture modeling tools.


• Ensuring operational responsibility and support agreements for delivered solutions.


• Building strong relationships with key stakeholders, C-level executives, and IT & Business Data Managers to drive long-term adoption of Cognite products and services.


• Training internal teams and partners in your area of specialization.


• Collaborating with Sales, Engineering, and Product Management teams to translate customer needs into product offerings.


• Managing integration, data modeling, and related activities using Cognite data connectors and extractors, SQL, Python/Java, REST APIs and cloud platform providers like Azure, AWS & Google.


• Collaborating with Sales, Engineering and Product Management teams to prioritize a pipeline of product offerings.


• Developing and maintaining technical and business expertise for Cognite products.


• Hands‑on Python development and adherence to software development best practices.


• Open to travel.


• Highly organized, thorough, and communicating well with stakeholders.


• Taking ownership and driving tasks independently.


• Leading, coaching, and working independently.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience working as a Software Engineer, Data Engineer, or Machine Learning Engineer.


• Technical background with willingness and ability to dive into code for advanced topics when needed.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in domains such as Manufacturing, Energy, O&G, Pharma, or Life Sciences.
