Talascend is currently seeking a
Business Operations Analyst
for a long-term contract opportunity with our client in
Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey .
Overview
The main function of a business operations specialist is to maintain vendor relationships, acting as a business analyst for non-IT projects or filling organizational roles above an administrative level, but below a management level. Responsibilities include maintaining project management processes, including project goals, deadlines, metrics, and budget. The role typically reports to a project manager or director.
Responsibilities
Establish and maintain communication services across business units or from the project team to the organization
Maintain the storage and retrieval of all project communications data and business metrics
Review contracts, cost proposals and contract supplements
Establish and document business processes
Set up project and work breakdown structures
Track project budgets and expenditures, monitor transaction controls and costs against budgets
Participate in strategic projects and operational initiatives spanning growth, go-to-market, and operational performance enhancement
Provide in-depth strategic insights and analysis based on business data
Develop business cases and strategic options based on financial and ROI analysis
Prepare executive summaries to share business strategies, plans, and deep dives into specific topics
Monitor eCommerce business performance, profitability, and identify process improvements
Conduct financial analysis to meet or exceed revenue and profitability targets
Continuously monitor customer experience and provide insights to optimize conversion rates
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business management, economics, finance, accounting, or relevant field required
MUST be bilingual in Korean and English
2-4 years of related experience required
Experience working with Telecom, Technology, Consumer Electronics, and/or Retail industry preferred
Strong analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex issues creatively and effectively
Experience analyzing situations or data with in-depth evaluation of variables
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially advanced Excel skills
Experience with financial analysis, building business cases, and P&L analysis
Demonstrated ability to perform duties through relevant experience, training, or education
