We are seeking an experienced technician skilled in electrical and mechanical work for our client in Winston‑Salem, NC!
**5 years of recent industrial maintenance and electrical experience required! ***
Pay: $27+/hr DOE!
Relocation assistance available to the right candidate!
2-2-3 rotation schedule / 5pm to 5am
**Experience with electrical repairs and troubleshooting on motors, VFDs, PLCs, high- and low-voltage applications required**

Primary Tasks/Responsibilities
Electromechanical technician services repair, adjust, and test various machinery, devices, and equipment related to the manufacturing process.
Electromechanical technicians must have the ability to learn production equipment processes and operations to aid in machine troubleshooting and operation support.
Electromechanical Technician: Performs and documents preventative maintenance tasks as necessary.
An electromechanical technician performs timely, effective troubleshooting.
Electromechanical Technician Demonstrates knowledge of minor electrical repairs and troubleshooting on motors, VFDs, PLCs, and high- and low-voltage applications.
Electromechanical technicians safely work inside electrical panels and understand the function of all components inside.
Electromechanical technicians read and understand wiring schematics and machine manuals.
Electromechanical technicians troubleshoot safety switches and safety circuitry.
An electromechanical technician may perform welding and use an acetylene torch.
An electromechanical technician will use pneumatic controls.
An electromechanical technician will perform work on hydraulic equipment.
Electromechanical Technician: Performs regular maintenance on gearboxes and conveyors.
Electromechanical Technician: Maintains a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
Electromechanical Technician Follows all good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures.
Electromechanical Technician Adheres to all safety and security policies and procedures.
Electromechanical Technician Follows all food safety and quality system requirements by committing to meet all pertinent regulatory, customer, and Safe Quality Foods (SQF) requirements.
Qualifications/Knowledge
High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred
Electrical technicians must have 5 years of experience as maintenance technicians in a manufacturing environment.
Mechanical Technician must have 5+ years maintenance experience in manufacturing, preferred; automated equipment experience a plus
Electrical Technician should be Skilled in installing and maintaining pumps, bearings, pulleys, belts, chains, gearboxes, bushings, etc.
Mechanical Technician must be Proficient with automation, production, and computer systems
Electrical Technician should possess Strong attention to detail
A mechanical technician should be a Clear communicator with technicians, operators, managers, and plant leadership
Electrical Technician must be Able to work independently or in teams and communicate effectively via radio, phone, and in person
Other skills and relevant considerations
Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Ability to be respectful, approachable, and team oriented while building
strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
Must be able to read, write, perform basic mathematical calculations, and accurately record data required.
Must be willing to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts, as required.
Must be able to frequently stand, walk, kneel, reach, climb, pull, and bend with full range of body motion.
Must be able to work independently and/or on a team in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to work in a wet and/or humid environment. Occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals will occur. Exposure to nut allergens.

May work 12-hour shifts on a fixed schedule rotation, including holidays
Must lift up to 50 lbs.; requires walking, bending, squatting, and climbing ladders/stairs
