We’re working with a leading legal organisation building production‑grade AI systems to transform how legal work gets done. This is a hands‑on engineering role focused on developing and deploying LLM‑powered solutions in secure, real‑world environments.
What you’ll work on:
Building RAG pipelines, fine‑tuned LLMs, and agentic workflows
Developing systems that interact with legal documents, knowledge bases, and internal platforms
Designing APIs, data pipelines, and backend services to support AI applications
Improving system performance across latency, cost, and reliability constraints
Collaborating closely with legal and product teams to turn complex workflows into AI‑driven solutions
What they’re looking for:
Experience with Python and modern AI/ML tooling (e.g. PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain, LlamaIndex)
Understanding of LLMs, embeddings, and retrieval systems (RAG)
Exposure to cloud environments (AWS or GCP) and production systems
Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work across ambiguous, real‑world challenges
Nice to have:
Experience with agent‑based systems or orchestration frameworks
Background working with sensitive or regulated data
Familiarity with vector databases, evaluation frameworks, or MLOps practices
We’re open to a range of levels (mid through principal), including strong M.S. graduates looking to move into industry and work on meaningful, production AI systems.
