
Business Development Manager

SRVacJet is seeking a driven and results-oriented Business Development Manager to lead efforts in growing our client portfolio and expanding market presence. This individual will serve as the face of SRVacJet in the field — building trusted partnerships, uncovering new revenue streams, and ensuring our services reach the right customers. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable on job sites and in boardrooms alike, and brings a proactive approach to finding opportunities paired with strong relationship management skills.
Responsibilities
Prospect, pursue, and close new business across targeted markets including utilities, construction, municipal, and industrial sectors
Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, nurturing long-term partnerships that drive repeat business and referrals
Visit customer locations and active job sites to evaluate project needs, demonstrate service value, and support pre-job planning
Build and present tailored proposals, service agreements, and competitive pricing strategies
Represent SRVacJet at industry conferences, trade shows, and local networking events to increase brand visibility and generate leads
Track all sales activity, client communications, and pipeline progress within the company's CRM platform
Partner with operations, safety, and project management teams to ensure seamless handoffs from sales to service delivery
Address client issues with urgency and professionalism, acting as an advocate for both the customer and the company
Stay current on industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities relevant to SRVacJet's service offerings
Travel regularly throughout Maryland and neighboring states; occasional overnight travel may be required
Adapt to a flexible schedule that aligns with client availability and project timelines
Education
Required: High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of proven sales or business development experience within industrial, environmental, construction, or similar service industries.
