We’re seeking a driven and passionate Business Development Manager to help expand our market presence and build lasting partnerships.
TheRole You’llplay a key role in identifying growth opportunities, developing clientrelationships, and shaping the future of our business witha will focus on generating revenue by developing market potential throughforecasting, lead generation, qualification and closing sales. You will reach sales targets by identifying, developing and managingrelationships and business growth with new customers in the builder andmerchants' market.
Reportingto the State Sales Manager VIC & SA, your main responsibilities will be:
Collaboratewith the State Sales Manager to execute sales strategies to meet and exceedrevenue targets.
Identifyand close key new business opportunities.
Initiatethe sales process by scheduling appointments, making initial presentations andunderstanding account requirements.
Closesales by building rapport with potential accounts, explaining product andservice capabilities, overcoming objections and preparing contracts.
Conductthorough market research to identify trends, competitive landscape andpotential areas of growth.
Representthe company at industry events, trade shows and conferences to enhance ourbrand presence and network with potential customers.
AboutYou: 3 +years sales experience gained in the building, construction or manufacturingindustries.
Strongunderstanding of the residential building market in the designated territory.
Demonstratedability to hunt for new sales opportunities.
Skilledat managing complex business relationships.
Excellenttime management skills and ability to self-manage your workload.
Highlymotivated to achieve OKR targets with a high standard of accountability.
Highlyeffective presentation and negotiation skills.
Goodknowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Office 365.
Currentdrivers licence.
Excellentverbal and written communication skills with an adaptable communication style.
Abilityto travel intrastate on a regular basis
