This role is critical in shaping the performance, reliability, and scalability of next‑generation wireless networks across multi‑vendor environments. You will provide technical leadership while driving continuous enhancements in RAN architecture and performance.

As a Senior Network Engineer, you will spearhead the design, analysis, and optimization of complex 5G/LTE radio access networks for major regional deployments. You will collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams, manage multi‑state project initiatives, and conduct deep‑dive analyses across accessibility, mobility, and performance domains. This role involves hands‑on RF design, advanced model tuning, KPI analysis, drive test evaluation, and strategic recommendation of RAN features and parameters. Working in an environment leveraging Massive MIMO, mmWave, IoT, LAA, and CBRS technologies, you will be central to delivering high‑performing next‑gen wireless networks.
✅ Key Responsibilities
Lead large‑scale 5G/LTE network design, implementation, and optimization efforts
Provide technical leadership across multiple metro‑scale or multi‑state projects
Work across diverse technologies: 5G NR, Massive MIMO, mmWave, LTE, LAA, CBRS, IoT
Analyze L3 signaling, mobility issues, accessibility, retainability, and event logs
Perform RF design using Planet EV, Atoll, link budgets, tilt/azimuth tuning, and site proposals
Use ACP tools, Monte Carlo simulations, and propagation model tuning to improve performance
Conduct optimization using TEMS, Actix, Agilent, and Rohde & Schwarz tools
Evaluate drive test data, KPIs, and performance metrics; resolve complex RAN issues
Recommend feature activations, parameter adjustments, and capacity enhancements
Identify technical add‑on opportunities to support sales teams
Required Qualifications & Skills
10+ years of network engineering experience (BSEE/BSCS or equivalent)
Deep expertise in 5G/LTE RAN design, optimization, and tuning
Strong leadership managing large‑scale, multi‑site engineering initiatives
Advanced understanding of LTE/5G RAN, Layer 3 messaging, drive test data, and KPI analysis
Hands‑on experience with Planet EV, Atoll, ACP tools, TEMS, Actix, Agilent, and R&S
Excellent cross‑functional communication and customer-facing skills
Ability to work independently, travel as needed, and deliver under pressure
✨ Nice‑to‑Have Skills
Experience with multi‑vendor RAN technologies
Strong knowledge of Massive MIMO and mmWave optimization
Background in IoT, LAA, and CBRS network deployments
Proficiency in RAN performance automation or Python‑based analysis
