Details
Work in an acute care hospital setting
Day shift Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Assignments primarily within the NICU
Full-time hours, 40 hours per week
EPIC EMR system is used and experience is required
No local candidates accepted; must live at least 50 miles from the facility
Requirements
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
Current BLS certification
Active Illinois SLP license required, if applicable
Experience with EPIC charting required
One year of relevant SLP experience in an acute care setting
Additional Information
Evaluate and treat patients of all ages across diverse case backgrounds
Conduct assessment, develop treatment plans, and implement speech and language interventions
Collaborate closely with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Provide education and training to patients and families regarding care plans
Modify intervention approach based on patient progress and feedback
Use standardized outcome measures and appropriate instrumentation in interventions
