Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract opportunity this summer assisting K-12 students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist. This position runs from June 29, 2026, through July 30, 2026, with workdays scheduled Monday through Thursday from 8:30am to 12pm. You’ll work onsite, serving a diverse student caseload and making a direct impact during the summer term. Key Qualifications:Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited programActive and current state licensure as required for school-based practicePrior experience working with K-12 students preferredStrong understanding of speech, language, and communication disorders relevant to school-aged childrenEffective communicator with students, staff, and familiesOrganized, adaptable, and able to manage a varying caseload Responsibilities:Provide diagnostic assessments, evaluations, and direct speech-language therapy to students onsiteDevelop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) and goals for each studentCollaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress and communicate resultsDocument interventions, maintain accurate records, and complete required documentation in a timely mannerOffer strategies and resources to teachers and families to support speech and language development in the classroom and at homeParticipate in meetings and consultations as needed throughout the contract This position offers a fantastic opportunity to support students’ growth, hone your school-based skills, and enjoy a well-structured summer schedule with afternoons free.
